Michel Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 5 minutes into the match, Karavostásis BC's goalkeeper Selçuk Eldem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel Santos. With his leg Selçuk Eldem managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when APOELHELLAS's Michel Santos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Selçuk Eldem stood somewhat misplaced when Michel Santos came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 7 minute. In the 10th minute of the match, Michel Santos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Selçuk Eldem was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 11th minute of the match APOELHELLAS got a corner. Karavostásis BC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Makareus Poulakis ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Anton Hylander managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Karavostásis BC's Selçuk Eldem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Karavostásis BC from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the game, Michel Santos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Selçuk Eldem. Michel Santos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Michel Santos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Selçuk Eldem skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Hylander in the 23rd minute of play forced Karavostásis BC's goalkeeper Selçuk Eldem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michel Santos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Selçuk Eldem when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Selçuk Eldem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quique Meckes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Selçuk Eldem firmly grabbed it by the left post. Michel Santoss short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Selçuk Eldem to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Michel Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Selçuk Eldem made a huge save. After a rather tough play, APOELHELLAS's Lykaon Belesis got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Michel Santos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Selçuk Eldem firmly grabbed it by the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michel Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Santos in the 53rd minute of play forced Karavostásis BC's goalkeeper Selçuk Eldem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Selçuk Eldem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Santos in the 60th minute of the match. Michel Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. Karavostásis BC's Selçuk Eldem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Santos in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Santos in the 73rd minute of play forced Karavostásis BC's goalkeeper Selçuk Eldem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Øverland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Martino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Michel Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 83 minutes of play, APOELHELLAS's Michel Santos made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Selçuk Eldem was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 88 played minutes Karavostásis BC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Guimarães. APOELHELLAS's Phaiakes Mitsinikos was substituted for Michel Santos. Joaquim Guimarães hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When Giorgos Papastavrou fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karavostásis BC's protests and gave Giorgos Papastavrou a yellow card for diving instead. There was no doubt that APOELHELLAS were the better team. APOELHELLAS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
