An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Martino in the 12th minute of play forced APOELHELLAS's goalkeeper Tobias Øverland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. APOELHELLAS's Lykaon Belesis got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lykaon Belesis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquim Guimarães helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, one of Karavostásis BC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Karavostásis BC. In the 34th play minute Eteokles Mitsinikos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tobias Øverland. 1-0. In the 37th minute, Michel Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Selçuk Eldem was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 45 minutes into the match, Eteokles Mitsinikos notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of APOELHELLAS's Tobias Øverland. Tobias Øverland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michel Santos made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Aglauros Sakellariou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lynkeus Galitsis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 51st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tobias Øverland. APOELHELLAS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Martino in the 54th minute of play forced APOELHELLAS's goalkeeper Tobias Øverland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Selçuk Eldem successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 57 minutes into the match, APOELHELLAS's goal looked a bit too open when Lynkeus Galitsis came free, but Tobias Øverland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60thth minute of the game Cristo Martino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but APOELHELLAS's Tobias Øverland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Karavostásis BC booed when APOELHELLAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th match minute, Karavostásis BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pau Broche to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Michel Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Selçuk Eldem. Karavostásis BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michel Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Tobias Øverland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lynkeus Galitsis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristo Martino in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Øverland saved APOELHELLAS from getting behind. Karavostásis BC's Selçuk Eldem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Makareus Poulakis in the 74th minute of play. Toninho Pinheiro hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Michel Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Selçuk Eldem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Makareus Poulakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, APOELHELLAS's goal looked a bit too open when Ikarios Kouropoulos came free, but Tobias Øverland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Øverland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lynkeus Galitsis, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Tobias Øverland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lynkeus Galitsis in the 89th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
