After a defensive mix-up in APOELHELLAS's zone, Ladislao Harriet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Øverland came out of the goal and Ladislao Harriet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ladislao Harriet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Øverland having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Michel Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uriel Malvin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tobias Øverland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Blanco in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ladislao Harriet got free with Tobias Øverland in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tobias Øverland made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Natalio Blanco sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute, Empire of Soccer's Natalio Blanco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Tobias Øverland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natalio Blanco's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for APOELHELLAS! Tobias Øverland went to the wrong direction when Ladislao Harriet was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tobias Øverland. That made the score 3-1 after 38 minutes of play. Empire of Soccer's Pavlos Galanopoulos was substituted for Ladislao Harriet. After a defensive mix-up in Empire of Soccer's zone, Makareus Poulakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uriel Malvin came out of the goal and Makareus Poulakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Michel Santos made the kick off in the second half. Makareus Poulakis struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Uriel Malvin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for APOELHELLAS. With a little luck, Empire of Soccer's Uriel Malvin got control of the ball when Makareus Poulakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Uriel Malvin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lykaon Belesis in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Pavlos Galanopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Øverland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Santos got free with Uriel Malvin in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 68 minutes Empire of Soccer's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Makareus Poulakis who took care of the corner kick. APOELHELLAS's Tobias Øverland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavlos Galanopoulos in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Pavlos Galanopoulos notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of APOELHELLAS's Tobias Øverland. Tobias Øverland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute, Hernán Grana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xanthos Fikias in the 90th minute of play forced APOELHELLAS's goalkeeper Tobias Øverland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Empire of Soccer had played much better football throughout.
