Spectators: 10871 (Terracing: 8154, Seating: 2500, VIP seats: 217) Mánthia's Koulis Mestas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Mánthia from getting a goal against them. Mánthia's Koulis Mestas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Ronaldo in the 10th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Christiano Ronaldo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Koulis Mestas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Fernado Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Dicastillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Koulis Mestas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Ronaldo in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Unione Sportiva booed when Mánthia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Polybos Dalianis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unione Sportiva's August Bratt shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 19th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Koulis Mestas but with some difficulty. 23 minutes into the match, Mánthia's goal looked a bit too open when Christiano Ronaldo came free, but Koulis Mestas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kimon Yfantis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Koulis Mestas made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Ronaldo in the 28th minute of play forced Mánthia's goalkeeper Koulis Mestas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Christiano Ronaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unione Sportiva's supporters rose to their feet, but Christiano Ronaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Koulis Mestas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Koulis Mestas came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Unione Sportiva's Christiano Ronaldo. But to his dismay, Christiano Ronaldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Cassiano Vilas Boas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Koulis Mestas having to interfere. When Unione Sportiva's Kimon Yfantis in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mánthia's goalie prevented a goal. Fernado Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Dicastillo in the 38th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kimon Yfantis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Christiano Ronaldo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Koulis Mestas was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Koulis Mestas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christiano Ronaldo's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Christiano Ronaldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mánthia's Koulis Mestas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute Anestis Katsambis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernado Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Polybos Dalianis during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mánthia's Polybos Dalianis got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 73 played minutes, Unione Sportiva's August Bratt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Koulis Mestas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Unione Sportiva reached it. Koulis Mestas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christiano Ronaldo went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Mánthia's zone, Christiano Ronaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Koulis Mestas came out of the goal and Christiano Ronaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Koulis Mestas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Ronaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. With 95 minutes on the clock, Carles Cannavaro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.
