Teukros Diplarakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute Besim Vecdet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Malvin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliver Bogren's late challenge caught a Empire of Soccer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oliver Bogren helped the player get up and apologised. Oliver Bogren hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Gottfrid Hedström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Harriet in the 28th minute. Fotis Theofilopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Uriel Malvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Empire of Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Besim Vecdet came free, but Uriel Malvin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uriel Malvin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavlos Belesis, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute, Ladislao Harriet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the game, Teukros Diplarakos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gottfrid Hedström. Teukros Diplarakos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Besim Vecdet was the one to do the kick off.
