Oleg Filipov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Yuriy Sapranovich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juljan Rybchyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Oleg Filipov managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lokomotiv Grodno's supporters rose to their feet, but Oleg Filipov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yuriy Sapranovich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan Bondarev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakim Busel having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan Bondarev to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute, Juljan Rybchyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yuriy Sapranovich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oleg Filipov in the 64th minute of play. Stanislav Garbazevich kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The FC Lokomotiv Grodno supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Columbia Business School's performance. The match ended with a win for Columbia Business School.
