After a rather tough play, AS 8-th's Matvey Sidarovich got a free kick in the 12th minute. Arseny Dzerzhinsky took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andrey Lomach. Andrey Lomach dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kastus Makovich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Radivon Zhigun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Staneslav Lubovich in the 29th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Andrey Lomach's left hand side. Ivan Vorontsov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vyacheslav Fursov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AS 8-th! With a little luck, NovoPolotsk's Vyacheslav Fursov got control of the ball when Ivan Vorontsov tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Anton Makalevich fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NovoPolotsk's protests and gave Anton Makalevich a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st match minute, NovoPolotsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Makalevich to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Vorontsov might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vyacheslav Fursov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivan Vorontsov ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind NovoPolotsk's goalkeeper Vyacheslav Fursov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andrey Lomach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kastus Makovich in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kastus Makovich to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Arseny Dzerzhinsky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Vladislav Rabykin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, NovoPolotsk's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Vorontsov came free, but Vyacheslav Fursov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladislav Rabykin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd match minute, NovoPolotsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkady Andrievsky to maneuver through the defense. Vyacheslav Fursov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Vorontsov in the 63rd minute of play. During the 64th minute of the match Anton Makalevich completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anton Makalevich a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of AS 8-th booed when NovoPolotsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Makalevich didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 73 in the game by Arseny Dzerzhinsky from a close distance when the talented Andrey Lomach managed to make a qualified save. AS 8-th's players were relieved. In the 75th minute, Arseny Dzerzhinsky ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrey Lomach was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 84th minute, AS 8-th's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arseny Dzerzhinsky fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladislav Rabykin in the 87th minute of play forced NovoPolotsk's goalkeeper Vyacheslav Fursov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vyacheslav Fursov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladislav Rabykin in the 88th minute of the match.
