The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, FC Fans of Beer's Nichypar Ponomarev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pavel Zdanovich narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juras Ilyin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Lukashevich in the 6th minute of play. Juras Ilyin was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Jan Lukashevich capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jan Lukashevich really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Vladislav Shitkovsky hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Konstantin Pavlov fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Minsk's protests and gave Konstantin Pavlov a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Minsk! The referee gave FC Fans of Beer a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Liavon Busel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Minsk's Pavel Zdanovich. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichypar Ponomarev in the 20th minute of play forced Minsk's goalkeeper Pavel Zdanovich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimir Antipov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Pavel Zdanovich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pavel Zdanovich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir Antipov, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Vladimir Antipov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Lukashevich blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juras Ilyin having to make a save. After some careless play in the FC Fans of Beer defense, Mscislav Rubanovich kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juras Ilyin. The FC Fans of Beer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juras Ilyin should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute Vladimir Antipov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Zdanovich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vladimir Antipov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Mscislav Rubanovich in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Fans of Beer's goalkeeper Juras Ilyin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Lukashevich in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juras Ilyin saved FC Fans of Beer from getting behind. In the 56th minute Mscislav Rubanovich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juras Ilyin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Fans of Beer's Liavon Busel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 60th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Minsk. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nichypar Ponomarev in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pavel Zdanovich prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vladimir Antipov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Pavel Zdanovich made a huge save. Nichypar Ponomarev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC Fans of Beer's Tadeuz Esoulov got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Jan Lukashevich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minsk's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Lukashevich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juras Ilyin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mscislav Rubanovich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nichypar Ponomarev might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pavel Zdanovich. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nichypar Ponomarev ran back to his position shaking his head. Nichypar Ponomarev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Pavel Zdanovich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Minsk's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
