Vladimir Antipov's late challenge caught a Minsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimir Antipov helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Fans of Beer getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Vladimir Antipov hit a great ball. If Jan Lukashevich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juras Ilyin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of FC Fans of Beer booed when Minsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mscislav Rubanovich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nichypar Ponomarev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Juras Ilyin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Lukashevich in the 65th minute of play. If Jan Lukashevich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, FC Fans of Beer's goalkeeper Juras Ilyin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mscislav Rubanovich. Jan Lukashevich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
