Spectators: 6806 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 0) Vladimir Krasovsky started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the game, Brest's Vladimir Krasovsky nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Semen Koltsov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Krasovsky in the 7th minute of play forced Zhlobin's goalkeeper Semen Koltsov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes in the game, Vadim Gorbatenko fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Semen Korol having to interfere. Vladimir Krasovsky recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Zhlobin's goal looked a bit too open when Mihas Lapshukov came free, but Semen Koltsov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Vadim Gorbatenko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 36 minutes, Mihas Lapshukov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brest's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihas Lapshukov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vladimir Krasovsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Semen Koltsov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vadim Gorbatenko to make the kick off. A collision led to Zhlobin getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Rastislav Novik hit a great ball. Semen Korol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vadim Gorbatenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladislav Mezin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Brest's Georgij Talaiko got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 70 played minutes Zhlobin got a freekick which was hit by Juras Galkin. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Vladimir Krasovsky managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brest's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir Krasovsky was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Semen Koltsov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vladimir Krasovsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semen Koltsov having to interfere. Semen Koltsov made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Mihas Lapshukov sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute, one of Zhlobin:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zhlobin. The referee gave Brest a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Trafim Kavalionok, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Zhlobin's Semen Koltsov. 0-2. Vladimir Krasovsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semen Koltsov having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Mihas Lapshukov got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Vladislav Makovich kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Brest's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
