Gorki's Artyom Vialichko got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anton Safonov hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artyom Vialichko in the 23rd minute of play forced Utenos FC's goalkeeper Astap Mironov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Gorki's protests and gave Radislav Nesterov a yellow card for diving instead. Radislav Nesterov kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zenon Krasovsky during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Vadim Trushkevich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gorki's supporters rose to their feet, but Vadim Trushkevich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astap Mironov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Apanas Ignatovsky kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Ruslan Barodin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, one of Gorki:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gorki. In the 97th minute, Vasily Zhukov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Utenos FC had won after a very even match.
