Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Astap Puhavets started the match with the kick off. Branislav Zdanovich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Astap Puhavets's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juras Nekrasov got free with Andrey Eremeev in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stanislav Medvedev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrey Eremeev having to interfere. Andrey Eremeev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislav Medvedev in the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th match minute, West Grodno Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Melnikovich to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the game, one of Gomel:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for West Grodno Club. Stepan Dmitriev stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Branislav Zdanovich. 0-1. In the 24th minute Astap Puhavets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Zdanovich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Patap Ponamorev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. West Grodno Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gomel the free kick. A collision led to West Grodno Club getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Patap Ponamorev hit a great ball. If Gleb Andrievsky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stanislav Medvedev was the one to do the kick off. Astap Puhavets recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Frol Dvorezky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Fedor Lisovsky managed to get in a good position for a shot. West Grodno Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Fedor Lisovsky was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Branislav Zdanovich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Astap Puhavets in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Branislav Zdanovich saved Gomel from getting behind. In the 68th match minute, Gomel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gleb Andrievsky to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, West Grodno Club's Astap Puhavets sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Branislav Zdanovich narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andrey Eremeev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juras Nekrasov in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Pavel Melnikovich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrey Eremeev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislav Medvedev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Stanislav Medvedev put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Andrey Eremeev. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stepan Dmitriev during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nazar Atrahovich shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Fedor Lisovsky could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Branislav Zdanovich made a huge save. The West Grodno Club players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
