An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Konstantin Pirogov got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Haryton Razumny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szymon Milan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miron Nikitenko in the 29th minute of play forced Mogilev's goalkeeper Timofey Gavrilov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haryton Razumny kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Arkady Raspopov struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Timofey Gavrilov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gorki. The Gorki fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Gorki's Miron Nikitenko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 0-3 became the score in the 40th minute when Miron Nikitenko elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Timofey Gavrilov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miron Nikitenko's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. After 47 minutes, Anatoly Tsvetkov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gorki and the Mogilev players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mogilev booed when Gorki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anatoly Tsvetkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Gorki were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Timofey Gavrilov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patap Fadeev in the 52nd minute. Miron Nikitenko didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-4 via right post in the game's 56th minute. Gorki's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Konstantin Pirogov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szymon Milan having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Mogilev got a freekick which was hit by Platon Malashevich. Gorki's Anatoly Tsvetkov shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Timofey Gavrilov but with some difficulty. Patap Fadeev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timofey Gavrilov having to interfere. Timofey Gavrilov made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Miron Nikitenko sent off a good shot on target. Miron Nikitenko who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Timofey Gavrilov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gorki made a substitution. Tadeuz Mironov replaced Gleb Andrievsky. In the 78th minute, Vitaly Egorov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Mogilev's goalkeeper Timofey Gavrilov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miron Nikitenko. When Platon Malashevich fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mogilev's protests and gave Platon Malashevich a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mogilev getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Platon Malashevich hit a great ball. With a little luck, Mogilev's Timofey Gavrilov got control of the ball when Miron Nikitenko tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Patap Fadeev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gorki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patap Fadeev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miron Nikitenko got free with Timofey Gavrilov in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Gorki fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Gorki's Miron Nikitenko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mogilev's Timofey Gavrilov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Mogilev from getting a goal against them. In the 97th minute, Konstantin Pirogov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mogilev fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gorki had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
