Kobrin's Szczepan Cichewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislav Medvedev in the 3rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stanislav Gedrevich in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Branislav Zdanovich was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Haryton Evdokimenko hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Kobrin's Szczepan Cichewski got control of the ball when Nazar Atrahovich tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Stanislav Gedrevich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Kobrin booed when Gomel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gleb Andrievsky didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Vitaly Prokopenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kobrin's Stanislav Gedrevich in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Gomel players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kobrin were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Stanislav Gedrevich made the kick off in the second half. Viktor Evstigneev received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Branislav Zdanovich came out and tried to block the shot, but Viktor Evstigneev slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 61st minute. With his leg Branislav Zdanovich managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Kobrin's Stanislav Gedrevich fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frol Dvorezky during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Frol Dvorezky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, Kobrin's Vitaly Prokopenko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Branislav Zdanovich narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Branislav Zdanovich made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Stanislav Gedrevich sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Viktor Evstigneev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Branislav Zdanovich. That made the score 0-9 in the 87 minute of play. The supporters of Gomel booed when Kobrin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksey Karsakovich didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 played minutes Kobrin got a freekick which was hit by Danila Belkin. The Gomel fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kobrin were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
