Stanislav Gedrevichs short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Luís Fabiano Coutinho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luís Fabiano Coutinho made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Stanislav Gedrevich sent off a good shot on target. Szczepan Cichewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Ragozin in the 40th minute of play. Stanislav Gedrevich succeeded in the game's 46th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Tadeuz Galuza made the kick off in the second half. Stanislav Gedrevich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Luís Fabiano Coutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oles Mezin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Szczepan Cichewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play.
