After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Adilson Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minsk Wildcats's supporters rose to their feet, but Adilson Matorin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Gavrosh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gwidon Palzewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anton Gavrosh having to make a save. Anton Gavrosh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turo Heinikallio in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Minsk Wildcats getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Prohar Lapshukov hit a great ball. Anton Gavrosh came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Minsk Wildcats's Gwidon Palzewicz. But to his dismay, Gwidon Palzewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 25 minutes into the match, Kuban's goal looked a bit too open when Turo Heinikallio came free, but Anton Gavrosh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kuban's Anton Gavrosh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Palzewicz in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the Kuban defense, Laurend Ablij kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anton Gavrosh. The Kuban fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anton Gavrosh should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute, Walter Pihl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Gavrosh was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. With his leg Doni Dracena managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Kuban's Loco Jøker fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Minsk Wildcats's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Loco Jøker was slow to take the kick. During this time Kuban's players had a chance to rest. Loco Jøker made a great header on Kuban's corner, it was just that Minsk Wildcats's Doni Dracena managed to reach the ball for a save. 42 minutes into the game, Adilson Matorin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Anton Gavrosh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Turo Heinikallio to make the kick off. Anton Gavrosh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adilson Matorin in the 53rd minute of the match. Anton Gavrosh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turo Heinikallio in the 58th minute of play. Kuban's Anton Gavrosh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Kuban from getting a goal against them. If İskender Baki Peyami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Minsk Wildcats's Adilson Matorin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anton Gavrosh. Anton Gavrosh yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. In the 85th minute, Minsk Wildcats's Turo Heinikallio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anton Gavrosh. After 89 minutes of play, Minsk Wildcats's Gwidon Palzewicz made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anton Gavrosh was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the match, Minsk Wildcats's Turo Heinikallio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Gavrosh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anton Gavrosh was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Adilson Matorin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adilson Matorin really showed his touch with that goal: 0-13.
