After a rather tough play, CSKA Samuil's Anko Dzhelepski got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When Dragolyub Biradzhiev came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the CSKA Samuil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dragolyub Biradzhiev couldn't finish the play. If Dragolyub Biradzhiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sava Tochkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zdravko Zenginov in the 21st minute of the match. Tzocho Balov kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Sava Tochkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Violet Sofroniev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CSKA Samuil's Sava Tochkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdravko Zenginov in the 29th minute of play. Mavrudi Fakirov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geno Gergishanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Kanits's goal looked a bit too open when Nencho Húntev came free, but Mavrudi Fakirov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Violet Sofroniev made a precise shot to the right of Sava Tochkov. CSKA Samuil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 46 minutes into the game, Bozhko Gaydardzhiev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mavrudi Fakirov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elin Dichkov was the one to do the kick off. Bozhko Gaydardzhiev struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Mavrudi Fakirov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSKA Samuil. Sava Tochkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elin Dichkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Nencho Húntev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Mavrudi Fakirov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Geno Gergishanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mavrudi Fakirov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geno Gergishanov scored 2-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mavrudi Fakirov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nencho Húntev in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mavrudi Fakirov saved Kanits from getting behind. Bozhko Gaydardzhiev took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mavrudi Fakirov. Mavrudi Fakirov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Dragolyub Biradzhiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Mavrudi Fakirov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mavrudi Fakirov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragolyub Biradzhiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Velcho Dinchov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CSKA Samuil had played much better football throughout.
