After 12 minutes of play, Brestnik's Varban Shaprin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ognyan Yoninov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Varban Shaprin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Ognyan Yoninov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 17th minute, ЖИЛИНА's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lyuboslav Nemski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ognyan Yoninov came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Brestnik's Lachezar Lambrev. But to his dismay, Lachezar Lambrev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Milyo Sentov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blagovest Golubarev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuil Durmishev, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, ЖИЛИНА's goalkeeper Ognyan Yoninov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lyuboslav Nemski. Ognyan Yoninov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Varban Shaprin in the 33rd minute of the match. Lachezar Lambrev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ognyan Yoninov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. When Kuzman Karamalkov came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Brestnik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kuzman Karamalkov couldn't finish the play. If Kuzman Karamalkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, ЖИЛИНА's Ognyan Yoninov got control of the ball when Lachezar Lambrev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lyuboslav Nemski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Varban Shaprin to strike the kick off in the second half. Brestnik's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
