In the 19th minute, Serafim Shabanov made a precise shot to the right of Geno Toshev. Marchelo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 24th minute, Marchelo's Anzhelo Glavanakov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dencho Lesidrenski. Dencho Lesidrenski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The supporters of Garljano booed when Marchelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anzhelo Glavanakov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marchelo's goalkeeper Geno Toshev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
