The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, FC Ustrem's Vladislav Chobanov got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The audience was convinced that Strahil Samokovski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimir Gruychev was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. The supporters of FC Priseltsi booed when FC Ustrem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trifon Sashov didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Strahil Samokovski in the 36th minute of play forced FC Ustrem's goalkeeper Vladimir Gruychev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Stoyan Solakov came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the FC Priseltsi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stoyan Solakov couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Strahil Samokovski made a kick off. Stoyan Solakov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Gruychev having to interfere. Lazar Miroslavov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stoyan Solakov got free with Vladimir Gruychev in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute Velimir Ashikov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lazar Miroslavov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, FC Ustrem's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Stoyan Solakov fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Venko Kondarev charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Venko Kondarev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Venko Kondarev kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Lazar Miroslavov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
