Biser Drinchev acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dimcho Davchev. Valko Kechedzhiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valeriy Vyazalov having to interfere. A hard shot 38 in the game by Ognyan Radev from a close distance when the talented Biser Drinchev managed to make a qualified save. CSKA Dobrogled's players were relieved. Dimcho Davchev was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 54 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 56 minutes, CSKA Dobrogled's Slavi Kaydzhiev got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Valeriy Vyazalov. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yanko Kalendzhiev during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Tzvetomir Kiradzhiev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 95 minutes of play, CSKA Dobrogled's Svetozar Genovski made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valeriy Vyazalov was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 99th minute Ognyan Radev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biser Drinchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
