The audience was convinced that Boris Chokanov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prokopi Dryankov was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Boris Chokanov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prokopi Dryankov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Koschniza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andon Dobriyanov to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Benislav Lukov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sapadzha's supporters rose to their feet, but Benislav Lukov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prokopi Dryankov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Boris Chokanov got free in front of the goal in the 14th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Prokopi Dryankov was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 21 minutes of play, Sapadzha's Boris Chokanov made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prokopi Dryankov was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Benislav Lukov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sapadzha's supporters rose to their feet, but Benislav Lukov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prokopi Dryankov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute, Boris Chokanov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prokopi Dryankov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Benislav Lukov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sapadzha getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Encho Todorchev hit a great ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Koschniza's goalkeeper Prokopi Dryankov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Boris Chokanov struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Prokopi Dryankov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sapadzha. If Boris Chokanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes into the match, Koschniza's goal looked a bit too open when Benislav Lukov came free, but Prokopi Dryankov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Koschniza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andon Dobriyanov to maneuver through the defense. In the 49th minute, Boris Chokanov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prokopi Dryankov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.

After 59 minutes, Andon Dobriyanov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Koschniza and the Sapadzha players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Andon Dobriyanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Sapadzha's Prokopi Dryankov threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benislav Lukov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Benislav Lukov might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prokopi Dryankov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benislav Lukov ran back to his position shaking his head. Boris Chokanov struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Prokopi Dryankov came out of the goal and Boris Chokanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Benislav Lukov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boris Chokanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prokopi Dryankov having to interfere. After some careless play in the Koschniza defense, Benislav Lukov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prokopi Dryankov. The Koschniza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prokopi Dryankov should have stopped the shot.
