After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Iliyan Manzurov managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kazanka's supporters rose to their feet, but Iliyan Manzurov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stoyne Strahilov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ventzislav Dzhambazov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tzeko Chipilov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shopenko Youth Academy's Stoyne Strahilov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Kerelezov in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Shopenko Youth Academy getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Yanislav Rikov hit a great ball. FC Kazanka's Plamen Piponkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ventzislav Dzhambazov in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Dilyan Vakanov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kazanka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shopenko Youth Academy the free kick. Dilyan Vakanov hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Antonio Kerelezov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stoyne Strahilov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th match minute, FC Kazanka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iliyan Manzurov to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Shopenko Youth Academy! In the 91st minute there was a penalty for FC Kazanka. Benislav Raychev stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stoyne Strahilov. 0-3. Stoyne Strahilov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iliyan Manzurov's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. After 97 minutes, Velizar Litov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shopenko Youth Academy and the FC Kazanka players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Kazanka eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
