Marin Rumenin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Toni Dzhevov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Feliks Haskiewicz. That made the score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tzenko Vodev during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tzenko Vodev hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Kiril Chipilov came free, but Fabian Hedkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Hedkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gruyo Ovcharov to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Zmeyovo booed when Manchester United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tzenko Vodev didn't get a good kick on the ball.
