After 5 minutes of play, Red Devils FC's Velizar Ralchevski made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vanko Pankev was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Velizar Ralchevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 11 played minutes, Red Devils FC's Lyubomir Gankov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vanko Pankev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Red Devils FC reached it. Asen Tatarev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filcho Hindalov in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match Karamfil Muhovski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Asen Tatarev showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 15th match minute, Red Devils FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Lima to maneuver through the defense. Vanko Pankev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vancho Yotzov, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Vanko Pankev came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Devils FC's Velizar Ralchevski. But to his dismay, Velizar Ralchevski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Nacho Batanov's late challenge caught a Red Devils FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nacho Batanov helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mikeloto 1897's Nacho Batanov got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Vancho Yotzov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mikeloto 1897's Vanko Pankev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vanko Pankev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Velizar Ralchevski went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Zachary Brodzki hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filcho Hindalov to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mikeloto 1897 booed when Red Devils FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Red Devils FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stoyko Tzarvulkov was slow to take the kick. During this time Mikeloto 1897's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Mikeloto 1897's corner Stoyko Tzarvulkov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Asen Tatarev quite easily take care of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Zachary Brodzki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vanko Pankev was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Asparuh Godinov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vanko Pankev. Mikeloto 1897's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With an all-out effort, Red Devils FC's Vanko Pankev threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Velizar Ralchevski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Haroldo Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vancho Yotzov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vanko Pankev came out and tried to block the shot, but Vancho Yotzov slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 80th minute. Vangel Zarkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asen Tatarev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filcho Hindalov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
