Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manchester United's Blagoy Gelkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venelin Rúklyov in the 29th minute of play. Valcho Roglev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zlatan Doychevs short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Ivaylo Zheynov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. PFK Levski Borovec's Ivaylo Zheynov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save PFK Levski Borovec from getting a goal against them. 41 minutes into the game, Krasimir Zhekov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PFK Levski Borovec's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester United the free kick. After 41 played minutes PFK Levski Borovec got a freekick which was hit by Krasimir Zhekov. Ivaylo Zheynov was a little too slow when Velin Baranov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Manchester United's zone, Valcho Roglev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blagoy Gelkov came out of the goal and Valcho Roglev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rostislav Stoimirov kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Lozan Radanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PFK Levski Borovec's Ivaylo Zheynov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zlatan Doychev in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute Rostislav Stoimirov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivaylo Zheynov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Manchester United fans cheered their team off the field, for while PFK Levski Borovec had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
