The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdravko Kichukov in the 3rd minute of play forced Jabalkowo's goalkeeper Rosen Gitzov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Grozdan Stanulov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stanyo Lazov got free with Zhelyazko Adamski in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute Zdravko Kichukov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosen Gitzov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosen Gitzov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoni Yashov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 23 minutes on the clock, Peyo Vladigerov commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lisitsite! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yanko Haralambiev during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Antoni Yashov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antoni Yashov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yanko Haralambiev might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rosen Gitzov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antoni Yashov made a kick off. Zhelyazko Adamski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mavrudi Bayramov in the 52nd minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Danail Lambov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lisitsite's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jabalkowo the free kick. Vaklin Yashev hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Antoni Yashov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Rosen Gitzov made a huge save. Petar Bahchevanov charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petar Bahchevanov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Petar Bahchevanov kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The supporters of Jabalkowo booed when Lisitsite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position.
