Borisovo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignat Kolchagov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ignat Kolchagov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Delcho Palikrushev. That made the score 1-2 in the 22 minute of play. Mircho Smilkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Henryk, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Borisovo FC's Zheko Dinchov seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zheko Dinchov the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Borisovo FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zheko Dinchov had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
