The Samowodeni fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Samowodeni's Traycho Plashokov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Presiyan Karadimitrov kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dilyan Nishev in the 14th minute of play forced FC Yaidzhi's goalkeeper Tzonyo Pirinchiev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Samowodeni's goalkeeper Alfredo Centofanti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlin Nikolovski. Samowodeni's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Arhangel Ninkov scored to the left of an out of position Alfredo Centofanti, making the score, 1-1. In the 30th match minute, FC Yaidzhi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arhangel Ninkov to maneuver through the defense. Traycho Plashokov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Tzonyo Pirinchiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 played minutes FC Yaidzhi got a freekick which was hit by Arhangel Ninkov. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Traycho Plashokov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samowodeni's supporters rose to their feet, but Traycho Plashokov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tzonyo Pirinchiev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Traycho Plashokov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dilyan Nishev struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Tzonyo Pirinchiev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samowodeni. After having played for 41 minutes, Presiyan Karadimitrov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samowodeni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Presiyan Karadimitrov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tzonyo Pirinchiev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traycho Plashokov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Traycho Plashokov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Traycho Plashokov to strike the kick off in the second half. Zahari Gramchev struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Tzonyo Pirinchiev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samowodeni. Traycho Plashokov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With splendid footwork Traycho Plashokov arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-2 by the left pole in the game's 59th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Zahari Gramchev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tzonyo Pirinchiev.
