Gencho Moskov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Grigor Santurdzhiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geno Ugúrchinski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yani Piskuliyski's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Grigor Santurdzhiev successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Grigor Santurdzhiev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peyo Rosnev in the 12th minute of the match. Gencho Moskov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigor Santurdzhiev having to interfere. The supporters of CSKA Gancovec booed when Akandzhievo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Temelko Dombev didn't get a good kick on the ball. CSKA Gancovec's Mario Vasilevski couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Akandzhievo. CSKA Gancovec's Tzvetomir Mihalkov got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Panayot Dakov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gencho Moskov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, CSKA Gancovec's Tzvetomir Mihalkov got a free kick in the 27th minute. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Peyo Rosnev took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Grigor Santurdzhiev to make any attempt to save it. Grigor Santurdzhiev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peyo Rosnev in the 43rd minute of play. Panayot Dakov hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Yani Piskuliyski might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geno Ugúrchinski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yani Piskuliyski ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yani Piskuliyski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geno Ugúrchinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tzvetomir Mihalkov in the 51st minute of play. CSKA Gancovec's Grigor Santurdzhiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gencho Moskov in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, one of CSKA Gancovec:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Yani Piskuliyski might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geno Ugúrchinski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yani Piskuliyski ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute, Peyo Rosnev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
