Hristo Glavinov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Krasen Obreshkov fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Seagulls's protests and gave Krasen Obreshkov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Seagulls getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Krasen Obreshkov hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see CSKA Staropatiza's Milcho Mitarov in action when he in the 11th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 15th match minute, CSKA Staropatiza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milcho Mitarov to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 16th minute, when FC Seagulls's Krasen Obreshkov after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Svetozar Karadimchev in CSKA Staropatiza's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Anastas Vutev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Hristo Glavinov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, FC Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Fotyo Iliev came free, but Hristo Glavinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th match minute, FC Seagulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Velichko Kinchev to maneuver through the defense. Gergin Zimbilev hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Milan Dorovski hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Seagulls's zone, Pavlin Rozov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hristo Glavinov came out of the goal and Pavlin Rozov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Velichko Kinchev kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Anastas Vutev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hristo Glavinov having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fotyo Iliev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Tzocho Tyanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Seagulls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tzocho Tyanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hristo Glavinov made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Anastas Vutev sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th match minute, FC Seagulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalin Gladnishki to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Fotyo Iliev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Seagulls's Krasen Obreshkov got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute Pavlin Rozov managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Ventzislav Radoykov managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Seagulls's supporters rose to their feet, but Ventzislav Radoykov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Svetozar Karadimchev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 74 minutes of play, FC Seagulls's Tzocho Tyanov made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Svetozar Karadimchev was left in no man's land by his defense there! CSKA Staropatiza's Svetozar Karadimchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ventzislav Radoykov in the 77th minute of play. If Anastas Vutev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anastas Vutev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Seagulls were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of CSKA Staropatiza for a fine match.
