Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute of the match Yagodinovo got a corner. FC Mechkovo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Radostin Shumanov ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arcan Çağnur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krasimir Zotov, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miho Bitrakov during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Yagodinovo's Miho Bitrakov got a free kick in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Yagodinovo's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Xabel came free, but Sasho Ivchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Arnulfo Xabel sped through Yagodinovo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sasho Ivchev. 22 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Xabel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sasho Ivchev. Yagodinovo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnulfo Xabel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 28 minutes into the game, Yagodinovo's Krasimir Zotov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arcan Çağnur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Yagodinovo's zone, Arnulfo Xabel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sasho Ivchev came out of the goal and Arnulfo Xabel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of FC Mechkovo booed when Yagodinovo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anatoli Kúrparov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Yagodinovo's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Xabel came free, but Sasho Ivchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match, Krasimir Zotov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arcan Çağnur saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 39 minutes into the match, Yagodinovo's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Xabel came free, but Sasho Ivchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sasho Ivchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Xabel in the 40th minute of the match. Yagodinovo's Sasho Ivchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Xabel in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Krasimir Zotov made the kick off in the second half. Krasimir Zotov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arcan Çağnur having to interfere. Arnulfo Xabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sasho Ivchev having to interfere. Sasho Ivchev made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Arnulfo Xabel sent off a good shot on target. Miho Bitrakov struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Arcan Çağnur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yagodinovo. Encho Barilski charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Encho Barilski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Encho Barilski kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Velin Zachev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Stanoy Mankov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sasho Ivchev, 1-4. Arcan Çağnur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krasimir Zotov, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Yagodinovo's Encho Barilski got a free kick in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Xabel got free with Sasho Ivchev in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Spas Rakovski fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yagodinovo's protests and gave Spas Rakovski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, one of Yagodinovo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Yagodinovo. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for FC Mechkovo. Bilyan Tomanov stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sasho Ivchev. 1-5. The Yagodinovo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Mechkovo's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Mechkovo.
