The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andrey Kombakov came out of the goal and Spiridon Katanski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Virgilio Rayman took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andrey Kombakov. Andrey Kombakov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 42nd minute, Virgilio Rayman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrey Kombakov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kosta Súbchev was the one to do the kick off. Mario Raev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Minyor Pernik's Andrey Kombakov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Rayman in the 60th minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrey Kombakov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Raev in the 86th minute. The Minyor Pernik fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Red Destroyers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
