Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tzanyo Sakarski took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tzanyo Sakarski in the 5th minute of play forced Chardafon's goalkeeper Nikolay Shukadarov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Gavril Morfov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Assen's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavril Morfov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikolay Shukadarov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tzanyo Sakarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolay Shukadarov having to interfere. Gavril Morfov's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nikolay Shukadarov firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Tzanyo Sakarski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Chardafon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Muratovski to maneuver through the defense. Yordan Predoev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolay Shukadarov having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Velyo Popdimitrov to make the kick off. When Yoan Deredzhiev fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Assen's protests and gave Yoan Deredzhiev a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd match minute, Assen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yoan Deredzhiev to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Assen's zone, Velyo Popdimitrov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valkan Volev came out of the goal and Velyo Popdimitrov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stancho Paliev kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Tzanyo Sakarski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chardafon's zone, Tzanyo Sakarski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikolay Shukadarov came out of the goal and Tzanyo Sakarski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62ndth minute of the game Gavril Morfov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chardafon's Nikolay Shukadarov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chardafon's Nikolay Shukadarov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tzanyo Sakarski in the 63rd minute of play. Assen's Stancho Paliev got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Acho Tatarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valkan Volev having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Assen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slaveyko Runev to maneuver through the defense. Velyo Popdimitrov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valkan Volev having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Velyo Popdimitrov in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valkan Volev saved Assen from getting behind. Nikolay Shukadarov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavril Morfov in the 77th minute of the match. Nikolay Shukadarov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tzanyo Sakarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kosta Burnazov hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Adalbert Hadzhiyanev's shot from long distance in the 81st minute was not bad at all, but Assen's Valkan Volev knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavril Morfov in the 83rd minute of play forced Chardafon's goalkeeper Nikolay Shukadarov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Gavril Morfov made a precise shot to the right of Nikolay Shukadarov. Chardafon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Gavril Morfov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikolay Shukadarov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Chardafon's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
