Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tzanyo Sakarski started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Trayko Karamihov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Slaveyko Runev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Alexey Penchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of CSKA Kesarevo booed when Assen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yordan Predoev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Assen's Valkan Volev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trayko Karamihov in the 7th minute of play. Alexey Penchev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavril Morfov, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Valkan Volev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zlatan Dzhangozov's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Barúmov during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zlatan Dzhangozov got free with Valkan Volev in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Trayko Karamihov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valkan Volev having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Assen's Gavril Morfov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexey Penchev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tzanyo Sakarski in the 36th minute of play forced CSKA Kesarevo's goalkeeper Alexey Penchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zlatan Dzhangozov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Assen's zone, Zlatan Dzhangozov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valkan Volev came out of the goal and Zlatan Dzhangozov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zlatan Dzhangozov had several of the Assen's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 47 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Valkan Volev as he didn't even see the shot coming. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 54th minute of the match Yani Parpulov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valkan Volev skillfully saved the ball. Mirolyub Salmov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valkan Volev having to make a save. Stancho Paliev kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match Kosta Burnazov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexey Penchev skillfully saved the ball. Valkan Volev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zlatan Dzhangozov, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tzanyo Sakarski in the 73rd minute of play forced CSKA Kesarevo's goalkeeper Alexey Penchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valkan Volev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mirolyub Salmov in the 75th minute of play. In the 75th match minute, Assen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stancho Paliev to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zlatan Dzhangozov in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valkan Volev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 77 minutes into the game, Yulian Kateliev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CSKA Kesarevo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Assen the free kick. Yulian Kateliev hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Zlatan Dzhangozov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Valkan Volev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Slaveyko Runev hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Valkan Volev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zlatan Dzhangozov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trayko Karamihov might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valkan Volev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Trayko Karamihov ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexey Penchev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavril Morfov in the 91st minute. Trayko Karamihov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valkan Volev having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gavril Morfov got free with Alexey Penchev in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Assen players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented CSKA Kesarevo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
