In the 9thth minute of the game Vasil Peykov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chavaklar's Dragomir Gotzev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miladin Bankovski in the 11th minute of play forced Podles's goalkeeper Boyan Nankov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chavaklar's Stanislav Pandilov pulled a muscle in his back after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 17 minutes into the game, Tzanko Pondev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Podles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chavaklar the free kick. The supporters of Chavaklar booed when Podles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tzanko Pondev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute Vasil Peykov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragomir Gotzev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Miladin Bankovski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chavaklar's Tzenko Kodzhabashiyski got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Chavaklar booed when Podles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hristo Voychev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miladin Bankovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyan Nankov having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Miladin Bankovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyan Nankov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miladin Bankovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyan Nankov having to interfere. Minko Vladinov's late challenge caught a Podles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Minko Vladinov helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Chavaklar getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Minko Vladinov hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Hristo Voychev in the 41st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Dragomir Gotzev's left hand side. In the 46th minute of the match, Yanislav Buranovski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dragomir Gotzev was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Vasil Peykov was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. Podles's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vasil Peykov was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Chavaklar's Biser Tzolev got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute, Miladin Bankovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 62 minutes, Vasil Peykov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Podles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasil Peykov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yanislav Buranovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Dragomir Gotzev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dragomir Gotzev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hristo Voychev, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Podles's Boyan Nankov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Podles from getting a goal against them. When Vasil Peykov came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Podles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasil Peykov couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the match, Chavaklar's goal looked a bit too open when Yanislav Buranovski came free, but Dragomir Gotzev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chavaklar's Tzenko Kodzhabashiyski got a free kick in the 74th minute. Dragomir Gotzev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vasil Peykov's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Miladin Bankovskis short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Boyan Nankov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dragomir Gotzev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yanislav Buranovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 93 minutes, Vasil Peykov made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Chavaklar's Dragomir Gotzev tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 96 minutes of play Podles's Hristo Voychev was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Podles's Hristo Voychev got a free kick in the 97th minute. Podles's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
