After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Mirolyub Tamburdzhiyski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skorets's supporters rose to their feet, but Mirolyub Tamburdzhiyski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yosif Dyukmedzhiev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manol Balabanov in the 7th minute of play forced Skorets's goalkeeper Filip Hadzhiperev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filip Hadzhiperev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gercho Klenov went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 18 minutes into the match, Fotyo Proychev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yosif Dyukmedzhiev. CSKA Mekisch's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fotyo Proychev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manol Balabanov in the 23rd minute of play forced Skorets's goalkeeper Filip Hadzhiperev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yosif Dyukmedzhiev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fotyo Proychev in the 25th minute. Fotyo Proychev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Yosif Dyukmedzhiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fotyo Proychev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yosif Dyukmedzhiev having to make a save. Marian Yosifov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yosif Dyukmedzhiev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Skorets's Fotyo Proychev got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manol Balabanov in the 39th minute of play forced Skorets's goalkeeper Filip Hadzhiperev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Skorets's goalkeeper Filip Hadzhiperev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Marian Yosifov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Fotyo Proychev notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of CSKA Mekisch's Yosif Dyukmedzhiev. Yosif Dyukmedzhiev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marian Yosifov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Skorets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stiliyan Shavulev to maneuver through the defense. Filip Hadzhiperev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gercho Klenov, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Yosif Dyukmedzhiev came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Skorets's Marian Yosifov. But to his dismay, Marian Yosifov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 66th minute, Fotyo Proychev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filip Hadzhiperev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gercho Klenov in the 68th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Marian Yosifov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Skorets's Marian Yosifov got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fotyo Proychev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gercho Klenov in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filip Hadzhiperev saved Skorets from getting behind. Filip Hadzhiperev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gercho Klenov, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Skorets walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
