Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Svetozar Buyukliyski started the match with the kick off. With his leg Dilyan Stefchev managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when FC Ruets's Tervel Ginov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dilyan Stefchev made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Tervel Ginov sent off a good shot on target. If Svetozar Buyukliyski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Boljarzi's goalkeeper Dilyan Stefchev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tervel Ginov. The supporters of FC Ruets booed when Boljarzi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evrosi Gudzhulov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Milen Bahchevandzhiev hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Boljarzi's Dilyan Stefchev got control of the ball when Tervel Ginov tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 39 minutes, Stamen Draganinski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boljarzi and the FC Ruets players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Boljarzi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stamen Draganinski to maneuver through the defense. Tervel Ginov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Dilyan Stefchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Boljarzi were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Boljarzi's Dilyan Stefchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svetozar Buyukliyski in the 53rd minute of play. Evrosi Gudzhulov hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Svetozar Buyukliyski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dilyan Stefchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tervel Ginov in the 87th minute of play forced Boljarzi's goalkeeper Dilyan Stefchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Boljarzi's goal looked a bit too open when Tervel Ginov came free, but Dilyan Stefchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tervel Ginov took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dilyan Stefchev. Dilyan Stefchev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Ruets had won after a very even match.
