Zlatin Boyanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Kalin Gúrdanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofan Piyanechki in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stanyo Delchev saved Under 21 Academy from getting behind. Grisha Godev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teofan Piyanechki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanyo Delchev having to interfere. Tzocho Stankev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC Kalowo booed when Under 21 Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zheko Shekerov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanyo Delchev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teofan Piyanechki went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, FC Kalowo's Tzanko Beluhov got a free kick in the 24th minute. Rosen Totin charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rosen Totin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rosen Totin hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When Tzocho Stankev came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the FC Kalowo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tzocho Stankev couldn't finish the play. Stanyo Delchev came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kalowo's Teofan Piyanechki. But to his dismay, Teofan Piyanechki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tzocho Stankev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stanyo Delchev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Under 21 Academy's goalkeeper Stanyo Delchev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half FC Kalowo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Grisha Godev to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Tzocho Stankev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anastas Gochev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anastas Gochev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalin Gúrdanov having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Under 21 Academy's zone, Tzocho Stankev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanyo Delchev came out of the goal and Tzocho Stankev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Under 21 Academy's Grisha Godev got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Georgi Radulov fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Under 21 Academy's protests and gave Georgi Radulov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Georgi Radulov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tzocho Stankev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Stanyo Delchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes in the game, Teofan Piyanechki fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Stanyo Delchev having to interfere. Tzocho Stankev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Stanyo Delchev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofan Piyanechki in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stanyo Delchev saved Under 21 Academy from getting behind. After 87 minutes, Tzocho Stankev made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Under 21 Academy's Stanyo Delchev tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute Teofan Piyanechki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanyo Delchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th match minute, Under 21 Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zlatin Boyanov to maneuver through the defense. The Under 21 Academy fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Kalowo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
