Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 14th match minute, AC Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bozhil Petkov to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Vesko Vidinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragolyub Mechev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Vesko Vidinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boltata's supporters rose to their feet, but Vesko Vidinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dragolyub Mechev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 20 played minutes Boltata got a freekick which was hit by Bozhin Dzhenev. With an all-out effort, Boltata's Dragolyub Mechev threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vesko Vidinski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Boris Gugalov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragolyub Mechev having to interfere. After some careless play in the Boltata defense, Yanaki Perenovski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrian Pachev. The Boltata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrian Pachev should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boris Gugalov got free with Dragolyub Mechev in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the match, AC Tigers's goalkeeper Dragolyub Mechev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boris Gugalov. Dragolyub Mechev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boris Gugalov in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in AC Tigers's zone, Boris Gugalov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dragolyub Mechev came out of the goal and Boris Gugalov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boltata's Boris Gugalov got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vesko Vidinski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Boltata fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Boltata's Boris Gugalov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Boltata's Kostadin Manyov got a free kick in the 55th minute. Dimcho Vekilski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arso Srebrev hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. When Arso Srebrev fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boltata's protests and gave Arso Srebrev a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AC Tigers booed when Boltata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arso Srebrev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dragolyub Mechev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Gugalov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Dimcho Vekilski took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Adrian Pachev to make any attempt to save it. Boltata succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though AC Tigers had controlled the match.
