Tzeko Bogoin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Antoni Pamukchiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belcho Zerkov hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Niki Gergov got in the 20th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Tzvetan Rusinov handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Zanoge's goal looked a bit too open when Niki Gergov came free, but Tzvetan Rusinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ilko Borovanski came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Zanoge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilko Borovanski couldn't finish the play. With his leg Gencho Pramatarski managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Zanoge's Tzeko Bogoin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Zanoge's Gencho Pramatarski threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ilko Borovanski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tzeko Bogoin might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gencho Pramatarski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tzeko Bogoin ran back to his position shaking his head. Gencho Pramatarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilko Borovanski, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Tzvetan Rusinov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simeon Grúncharov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niki Gergov was the one to do the kick off. Ilko Borovanski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tzeko Bogoin struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Gencho Pramatarski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zanoge. The supporters of Берое Стара Загора booed when Zanoge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iskren Lesev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Берое Стара Загора was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panayot Gavalyugov to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Zanoge booed when Берое Стара Загора was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Vatrachki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yanislav Kolibarski, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Antoni Pamukchiev's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tzvetan Rusinov firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilko Borovanski in the 75th minute of play forced Берое Стара Загора's goalkeeper Gencho Pramatarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antoni Pamukchiev got free with Tzvetan Rusinov in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gencho Pramatarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilko Borovanski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gencho Pramatarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tzeko Bogoin in the 98th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
