He was immediately shown a red card. After 26 played minutes LEVSKI 1914 got a freekick which was hit by Gerasim Topuzliev. Velizar Gyulev might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Spike West. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Velizar Gyulev ran back to his position shaking his head. Spike West came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Satowtscha's Benislav Hvoynev. But to his dismay, Benislav Hvoynev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Paulino Conrao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Spike West was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benislav Hvoynev showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 39 minute of play.
