Zanko Nenchovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikifor Vakareliyski having to interfere. If Vlado Pantaleev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CSKA Sofia's Nikifor Vakareliyski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zanko Nenchovski in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CSKA Sofia's Slavi Levchev got a free kick in the 14th minute. Vlado Pantaleev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Nikifor Vakareliyski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zanko Nenchovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikifor Vakareliyski having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Vlado Pantaleev in the 27th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A collision led to CSKA Sofia getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Lachezar Topliyski hit a great ball. Nikifor Vakareliyski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zanko Nenchovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dilyan Muhtarov to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, CSKA Sofia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tzeno Kyulafliev to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, CSKA Sofia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zanko Nenchovski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 69th minute, Radan Levunliev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, FC Petlit's Stanyo Cheshankov tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, CSKA Sofia's goalkeeper Nikifor Vakareliyski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zanko Nenchovski. Zanko Nenchovski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Nikifor Vakareliyski made a huge save. Slavi Levchev struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Vasko Kutzev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSKA Sofia. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Petlit's goalkeeper Vasko Kutzev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Slavi Levchev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zanko Nenchovski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Nikifor Vakareliyski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 83 minutes of play CSKA Sofia's Radan Levunliev was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 84 played minutes CSKA Sofia got a freekick which was hit by Radan Levunliev. Vlado Pantaleev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Nikifor Vakareliyski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vlado Pantaleev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zanko Nenchovski got free with Nikifor Vakareliyski in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Petlit's Vlado Pantaleev got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
