Spectators: 7568 (Terracing: 5677, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 151) Denimir Tzutzumanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borimir Bondikov having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, CSKA Loukovit's Malin Parlapanov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Genadi Choevski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luvovete Plovdiv's Krasen Tzarev got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bilyan Balov in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Borimir Bondikov saved CSKA Loukovit from getting behind. If Bilyan Balov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute of the match Tzolo Alipiev sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Borimir Bondikov skillfully saved the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Luvovete Plovdiv's Bilyan Balov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Borimir Bondikov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 28thth minute of the game Bilyan Balov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CSKA Loukovit's Borimir Bondikov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Velcho Zagarov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CSKA Loukovit fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Bilyan Balov sped through CSKA Loukovit's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Borimir Bondikov. After the first half Luvovete Plovdiv were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Bilyan Balov made the kick off in the second half. Andrey Rakov scored 1-4 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Borimir Bondikov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Luvovete Plovdiv booed when CSKA Loukovit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malin Parlapanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bilyan Balov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 played minutes, Luvovete Plovdiv's Georgi Gindev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Borimir Bondikov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Luvovete Plovdiv reached it. Borimir Bondikov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Krasen Tzarev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bilyan Balov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. When Krasen Tzarev came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Luvovete Plovdiv fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krasen Tzarev couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the match, CSKA Loukovit's goalkeeper Borimir Bondikov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bilyan Balov. 81 minutes into the game, Antim Salmov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CSKA Loukovit's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luvovete Plovdiv the free kick. If Andrey Rakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95th play minutes Bilyan Balov shot 1-6, a short shot which went by Borimir Bondikov and just under the crossbar into goal.
