When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Bilyan Balov put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Apostol Gervazov. A collision led to Chupacabra Plovdiv getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bilyan Balov to make the kick off.
