An unexpectedly hard shot by Todor Súrbinov in the 16th minute of play forced FK Real Madrid's goalkeeper Roman Kinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FK Real Madrid getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Teodosi Ruskov hit a great ball. After 22 minutes of play, FK Real Madrid's Kalin Sungarski made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doychin Stratiev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Doychin Stratiev was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tomislav Tanchev. Todor Súrbinov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Kinov having to interfere. Roman Kinov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Todor Súrbinov, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Yavor Motzev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roman Kinov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 47 minutes, Kalin Sungarski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Real Madrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kalin Sungarski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bocho Prahov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Teodosi Ruskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doychin Stratiev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doychin Stratiev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalin Sungarski, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 60thth minute of the game Bocho Prahov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vidima's Doychin Stratiev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Vidima's Nasko Isporski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Kinov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Vidima's Todor Súrbinov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roman Kinov. Roman Kinov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The audience was convinced that Todor Súrbinov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Kinov was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yavor Motzev got free with Roman Kinov in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roman Kinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todor Súrbinov in the 77th minute of play. Doychin Stratiev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kalin Sungarski in the 80th minute of play.
