After having played for 9 minutes, Bilyan Balov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luvovete Plovdiv's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bilyan Balov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute Todor Súrbinov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genadi Choevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bilyan Balov to make the kick off. Doychin Stratiev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrey Rakov went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute Bilyan Balov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doychin Stratiev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vidima's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Doychin Stratiev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donyo Kermov in the 84th minute of the match. When Luvovete Plovdiv's Bilyan Balov in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
