The Veterinary-Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 19th minute of the match, Nasko Glavov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Branimir Karadachki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 21st match minute, Спартак Пловдив was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tzvetomir Kraynev to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Tzeno Yanovski sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Branimir Karadachki threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Tzeno Yanovski this time. Branimir Karadachki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nasko Glavov in the 24th minute of the match. Vlado Sholeykov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rostislav Stefanovski's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Tzvetomir Kraynev charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tzvetomir Kraynev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes Спартак Пловдив got a freekick which was hit by Tzvetomir Kraynev. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elenko Gruychev in the 31st minute of play forced Veterinary-Team's goalkeeper Vlado Sholeykov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slavi Spirov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Branimir Karadachki skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rostislav Stefanovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlado Sholeykov having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Elenko Gruychev made a precise shot to the right of Vlado Sholeykov. Veterinary-Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 40 played minutes Спартак Пловдив got a freekick which was hit by Marin Balkandzhiyski. After 42 minutes, Orlin Angov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Спартак Пловдив and the Veterinary-Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Orlin Angov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rostislav Stefanovski to make the kick off. Branimir Karadachki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nasko Glavov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Veterinary-Team's Slavi Spirov got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Спартак Пловдив's goal looked a bit too open when Nasko Glavov came free, but Branimir Karadachki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nasko Glavov might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Branimir Karadachki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nasko Glavov ran back to his position shaking his head. 64 minutes into the match, Veterinary-Team's goalkeeper Vlado Sholeykov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elenko Gruychev. Vlado Sholeykov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rostislav Stefanovski in the 66th minute of play. Stavri Kambanov kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Veterinary-Team's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elenko Gruychev fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vlado Sholeykov was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Rostislav Stefanovski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rostislav Stefanovski really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Elenko Gruychev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Vlado Sholeykov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Veterinary-Team's zone, Rostislav Stefanovski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vlado Sholeykov came out of the goal and Rostislav Stefanovski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rostislav Stefanovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Veterinary-Team defense, Elenko Gruychev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vlado Sholeykov. The Veterinary-Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vlado Sholeykov should have stopped the shot. Vlado Sholeykov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rostislav Stefanovski in the 94th minute of play. A collision led to Veterinary-Team getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Stavri Kambanov hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Elenko Gruychev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Спартак Пловдив's supporters rose to their feet, but Elenko Gruychev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vlado Sholeykov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Veterinary-Team supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Спартак Пловдив's performance. The match ended with a win for Спартак Пловдив.
