Elin Kaymakchiyski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Branimir Karadachki having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Kis4e7y team's goalkeeper Biser Benev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rostislav Stefanovski. When Bozhin Pishimarov fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kis4e7y team's protests and gave Bozhin Pishimarov a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Kis4e7y team got a freekick which was hit by Bozhin Pishimarov. When Elenko Gruychev came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Спартак Пловдив fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elenko Gruychev couldn't finish the play. Tzvetomir Kraynev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Biser Benev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Elenko Gruychev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hristo Kalinchev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Спартак Пловдив's Branimir Karadachki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hristo Kalinchev in the 42nd minute of play. Tzvetomir Kraynev's late challenge caught a Kis4e7y team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tzvetomir Kraynev helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Спартак Пловдив's Tzvetomir Kraynev got a free kick in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After 51 played minutes Kis4e7y team got a freekick which was hit by Hristo Kalinchev. Bozhin Pishimarov kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Спартак Пловдив's zone, Hristo Kalinchev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Branimir Karadachki came out of the goal and Hristo Kalinchev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Branimir Karadachki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miho Yuliev, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Kis4e7y team's Biser Benev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elenko Gruychev in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Спартак Пловдив booed when Kis4e7y team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miho Yuliev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Elenko Gruychev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venelin Gudev hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Hristo Kalinchev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Branimir Karadachki. That made the score 0-1 in the 83 minute of play. Miho Yuliev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hristo Kalinchev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Branimir Karadachki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
