Spectators: 1001 (Terracing: 1, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bokhova's Stoycho Gushev started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Donyo Kirovski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stoycho Gushev went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Blagovest Boishin fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BOTEV PLOVDIV's protests and gave Blagovest Boishin a yellow card for diving instead. Bokhova's Vanko Ushagelov got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Radomir Kupenovs short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Milko Kopanarov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gerasim Kabatliev made in the 18th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Radul Tronkov. Donyo Kirovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Strahil Rashev, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stoycho Gushev in the 21st minute of play forced BOTEV PLOVDIV's goalkeeper Donyo Kirovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Stoycho Gushev made a precise shot to the right of Donyo Kirovski. BOTEV PLOVDIV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in BOTEV PLOVDIV's zone, Vanko Ushagelov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donyo Kirovski came out of the goal and Vanko Ushagelov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes into the match, Vanko Ushagelov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donyo Kirovski. BOTEV PLOVDIV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vanko Ushagelov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Stoycho Gushev might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donyo Kirovski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stoycho Gushev ran back to his position shaking his head. Radomir Kupenov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milko Kopanarov having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Stoycho Gushev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donyo Kirovski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Radomir Kupenov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Milko Kopanarov was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Donyo Kirovski made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Radul Tronkov sent off a good shot on target. Donyo Kirovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stoycho Gushev in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of BOTEV PLOVDIV booed when Bokhova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Strahil Rashev didn't get a good kick on the ball. BOTEV PLOVDIV's Donyo Kirovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Strahil Rashev in the 61st minute of play. Donyo Kirovski made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Vanko Ushagelov sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, BOTEV PLOVDIV's Blagovest Boishin got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 76 minutes into the game, when Neycho Lambrev put in a rough tackle. In the 75th minute, one of Bokhova:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bokhova. 78 minutes into the match, Tenyo Tzaykov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Milko Kopanarov. Bokhova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tenyo Tzaykov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Donyo Kirovski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vanko Ushagelov in the 84th minute. If Radomir Kupenov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bokhova's Strahil Rashev got a free kick in the 86th minute. A collision led to Bokhova getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Radul Tronkov hit a great ball. If Vanko Ushagelov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donyo Kirovski made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Vanko Ushagelov sent off a good shot on target. Donyo Kirovski was a little too slow when Strahil Rashev got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-5. BOTEV PLOVDIV's Blagovest Boishin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gerasim Kabatliev, made in the 98th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bokhova eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
